I moved recently and have been stopping in the local Taqueria Vallarta for a burrito now and then. I usually order from the same guy at the counter. I decided to eat outside and get a bit of work done on my laptop.

After I finished my burrito, I walked back to my truck in the parking lot and glanced over at the entrance to Taqueria Vallarta. Some of the employees were sitting outside a ways away eating their lunch. The guy I usually order from acknowledged me and waved. Or maybe I just thought he was waving at me but he was actually waving at someone else. Irregardless, it made me feel good. Not to be too much of a cheeseball, but small gestures such as these can really have a positive impact on a person’s day, or even life.
