How Are You?

As far as greetings go, this is not really used as a question, it’s more like a statement. The statement, “How are you.” usually prompts another statement like, “What’s up.” or, “How’s it going.” This ends the exchange and both parties part. Kind of boring. I’m going to start asking, “Why are you?“
