While I’m feeling cheesy I may as well admit that I do like a few pop songs. Perhaps this one has some sentimental appeal because I played soccer for fourteen years. Perhaps it is the Salt N’ Peppa sample. Or maybe it is the glow of the golden Mc’Donalds arches (I did try to find one without Mc’Ds embedded).
Speaking of the sport, what is up with “soccer”!? If any sport on the face of the planet should be called “football” it is soccer. The rest of the world has it right, and calls the sport futbal.
