Alive

by on Apr.22, 2008, under spirituality

Every second is precious, a colorful vibrant display of pure being. Let go of habits. Expand perception to encompass all that is being experienced. Relax. Flow with the reality configuration that is happening. Change the flow if in an uncomfortable rut. Know that everything is impermanent. Fulfill dreams while respecting the livelihood of others.

Message to my Little Mind

by on Mar.18, 2008, under poetry, spirituality

You think you know, but you don’t. You warp reality and spin all sorts of tales that do not exist, like a reflection in a mirage. Troubadour of trouble-making. Stop and observe the thoughts you identify with. The thoughts are not you, you encompass the thoughts. Stop reacting for a second. You are not the feelings, you encompass the feelings.

Relax.
Be kind.
Don’t contrive.
See the essence.

by on Feb.11, 2008, under spirituality

The Root of Hatred

Hatred is a disease. The root of hatred is anger. Anger itself is raw energy that is fresh and immediate. Anger can manifest as clarity and inspire us to make necessary changes. When anger crystallizes in an impure form it is hatred. Hatred is habitual and toxic. Hatred is learned from the people who influence our lives or it is regurgitated from past experiences.

The more you let go, the better life goes. The more you let yourself be yourself, the better life feels.

This is an internal experience of freedom and bliss that shines through even if the external stuff appears difficult and constricting.

Menis

by on Dec.16, 2007, under funnyz, spirituality

The other day someone called me a dick. I took this as a complement on my Menis. It is always uplifting to receive ego strokes. But then I began to wonder what it would be like to not have an ego – to be minus Menis.
