The way to solve all problems is to recognize that problems do not actually exist, outside of how I choose to perceive reality. With this understanding internalized, I should take action to solve the falsely perceived problems for myself and others, making no exceptions.

The way to accomplish all goals is to recognize that everything is already completely accomplished simply by being. With this understanding internalized, I should take action to accomplish what seemingly needs to be done, without any hope or fear for results.

The way to stabilize this recognition is to constantly be aware when it is not present and I am acting solely out of impulse or habit.

Even an uneducated, diseased, horribly disfigured, socially-inept beggar can know this and be free.

Even a highly sophisticated, healthy, attractive, socially-connected millionaire can know this and be free.

This knowing is beyond intellect, encompasses the intellect and is easier said than lived.

What is with me wherever I go? The body.

People spend so much time catering to the body. Keeping it clean, keeping it healthy, keeping it fed, making it pretty for other people. And then it lets us down. It starts getting old, it starts getting ugly, it develops aches and pains, it gets diseases and eventually disintegrates. The enemy is not outside, it is the heap of atoms called me - the true “ene-me”.

Every second is precious, a colorful vibrant display of pure being. Let go of habits. Expand perception to encompass all that is being experienced. Relax. Flow with the reality configuration you are experiencing. Change the flow if you are situated in an uncomfortable rut. Know that everything is impermanent. Fulfill your dreams while respecting the livelihood of others.

You think you know, but you don’t. You warp reality and spin all sorts of tales that do not exist, like a reflection in a mirage. Troubadour of trouble-making. Stop and observe the thoughts you identify with. The thoughts are not you, you encompass the thoughts. Stop reacting for a second. You are not the feelings, you encompass the feelings.

Relax.
Be kind.
Don’t contrive.
See the essence.

This morning I was thinking about another invention that I’m never going to get around to building because it is too complex.

Two hours later I’m standing in front of the gas pump at a Shell station. There is a TV above the pump spewing out advertisements. Everywhere you go, somebody is trying to sell you something. This particular delivery method is a good strategy. I wouldn’t doubt it that the advertising is more potent, because they have your undivided attention and you are inhaling gas fumes.

The Root of Hatred

Hatred is a disease. The root of hatred is anger. Anger itself is raw energy that is fresh and immediate. Anger can manifest as clarity and inspire us to make necessary changes. When anger crystallizes in an impure form it is hatred. Hatred is habitual and toxic. Hatred is learned from the people who influence our lives or it is regurgitated from past experiences.
