Random thoughts and blathering BS

Sometimes when people are looking for a relationship they are subconsciously wanting to fix a perceived flaw or short-coming in themselves. Whether it is the desire to be taller, more attractive, more intelligent, less hairy or whatever, they look for this in their potential lovers. When this is the case, insecurity and neediness come into play and there probably won’t be a genuine meeting of the hearts.
On the other hand, when both partners enter a relationship from a place of inner strength, they tend to complement and enhance each other’s positive qualities. They inspire each other to live life to the fullest potential and they share a relationship that is truly based on love. It is best to be ok with oneself and love oneself before trying to make a relationship work. Better choices in partners are made and it is not so upsetting if things do not work out.
