Advice to myself
March 1st 2007 by Sean in spiritualityAppearances in life are often mistakenly perceived as solid. Nothing is permanent. If you are experiencing happiness, enjoy it. If you are experiencing depression, enjoy it. If you feel like things need to change, take action.
Whatever appears, look to the ever-present essence which is the thread running through all experiences.
Validate any teachings you receive with your own inner wisdom. Remain completely open yet discerning. Find the humor lurking in every situation. Do what you can to support others in their search for truth and happiness. Give without expectation.

All good things
I feel validated in my own Wisdom just by your kindred expression of the same kinds of goals that I like to try to keep in the fore of my mind every day. Thoughts and actions like these are spiritual work, and they’re what create in us all the Infinite Beauty that is the Divine. May we all continue to learn and to be inspired by one another on our journeys.

Yeah,
I’ve been a research scientist of “being in the now” for a long long time..
I research this now in conjunction with the concept of “being your word, being responsible, being accountable, keeping agreements with people close to you. How do these co-exist, or can they?

Yes,<
I like Oriental philosophy and feel they have a lot to teach us but don’t become passive/fatalist.
Consciousness is a very complex thing to learn about and manage and I think that we have a say on how things unfold.
Not that you said that but I added my two-cent here.

I love this! It reminds me that I am accountable to myself for choices, and yet vulnerable to the integrity of the universal plan!
blessings on the journey
