Icy winds scavenge streets in search of heat. Charged ions stir feelings of unease as trees shed leaves. Perhaps another drink. Alone, seeking nothing but subconsciously craving.

What is with me wherever I go? The body.
People spend so much time catering to the body. Keeping it clean, keeping it healthy, keeping it fed, making it pretty for other people. And then it lets us down. It starts getting old, it starts getting ugly, it develops aches and pains, it gets diseases and eventually disintegrates. The enemy is not outside, it is the heap of atoms called me – the true “ene-me”.

I have been known to start the day in unusual ways. Last night I spent the night at a friend’s house so I could drive him to the airport. I woke up this morning to the sound of dishes being done, feeling groggy. While squeegee-ing my eyeballs with my eyelids and still lying in bed, I started scrounging around on the floor for my clothes. My hand fell on a shirt and a sock.

While looking for info on the Conspiracy Asylum ARG last night I visited ARGNet.com. I don’t usually click ads, but the black banner is kind of hard to miss so I clicked it. It takes you to a flash sequence on http://exposethegrid.com with a winged-snake being and messages about world peace and hijacking the media machine. Interesting… After the flash finishes, it dumps you to here.
