The Big One

by on Oct.30, 2007, under inspiration, santa cruzin'

This wasn’t The Big One, but a large earthquake just hit 15 km NE of San Jose and 11km E of Milpitas. A preliminary report places the magnitude of this quake at 5.6 on the Richter scale.

Happyless is a Warm Pun

by on Oct.29, 2007, under poetry

I’m feeling kind of punny, like a double-entendre Gemini.

Thread the needle with the song of a Beetle. Why ask why?

I won’t.

Tasty croissant pastry lament. Heaven scent. Marry no wanna. Single to mingle. No ring on my fingle.

Shallow like a marshmallow, floating in the sea. Now you sea me now you don’t.

Mind flow.. dam! writer’s block.

Don’t do yourself in for a slow painful life, nor a quick painful death. Sewerslide is never an option.

Mediogre is boring and ugly. Be vibrant and original. Every second is fresh and new.

Live and love. Loave your life.

I’m a hamlet sandwich. Don’t shake your speare at me.

I like Pop Music

by on Oct.27, 2007, under muzic, rantz, videoz

While I’m feeling cheesy I may as well admit that I do like a few pop songs. Perhaps this one has some sentimental appeal because I played soccer for fourteen years. Perhaps it is the Salt N’ Peppa sample. Or maybe it is the glow of the golden Mc’Donalds arches (I did try to find one without Mc’Ds embedded).

Speaking of the sport, what is up with “soccer”!? If any sport on the face of the planet should be called “football” it is soccer. The rest of the world has it right, and calls the sport futbal. Speaking of which, what is up with feet and inches? The rest of the world has it right and uses the metric system.

Random Acts of Kindness

by on Oct.27, 2007, under impressionz

Taqueria VallartaI moved recently and have been stopping in the local Taqueria Vallarta for a burrito now and then. I usually order from the same guy at the counter. I decided to eat outside and get a bit of work done on my laptop.

On the radar

by on Oct.26, 2007, under rantz

Within less than 5 hours of having iseyz online, I got email notification for what seems to be an automated comment and one of my posts was mentioned on another site:

http://computers.livefortech.com/?p=2507

This isn’t the usual spam, but it is strange that the comment is exactly the same as the post on that site. I guess I better get a comment captcha installed.

Better than Guacamole?

by on Oct.19, 2007, under tipz

GjetostCould anything be better than guac? Perhaps not, but I found something almost as good. Well, I’ve had it before, so let’s just say I rediscovered it.

Innerji

by on Oct.09, 2007, under spirituality

InnerjiIt comes randomly and often unexpectedly, a feeling that is utterly sublime. When this energy drops the sensation can be like shockwaves radiating out, rippling perception of space and time. I am nothing, and there is love for everyone and everything.

Moods and experiences come and go. I’ll probably feel embarrassed later for writing this.

BMI

by on Oct.02, 2007, under health

I noticed I’ve been looking a bit gaunt recently. I weighed myself and was somewhat surprised. Decided to check my BMI.

Holy Crap! My BMI is 16.8
