Guacamole?

Okay. So I’m standing in line at the taco bar. I’m going to get two tacos with guacamole. I have four years of Spanish in high school under my belt, plus i used to work and play soccer with Mexicans. While walking back to my car downtown I saw a kid on the street who seemed to be flirting with a couple of girls. He was holding a cardboard sign. In passing I glanced at the sign which read, “Backflips for One Dollar!”

Fundraising through Intimidation

I get more calls from the Police charity squad than any other unsolicited call. They are immune to the do not call list so you can’t block them out.
I think there is something, however minute, in the back of people’s minds when they get a call from the police; that they better be on best behaviour, that there will be consequences if they don’t do what they are told. Something like, “I’m going to get a ticket if I don’t donate some money.”
